(More customer reviews)Before purchasing this pan I read most of the reviews for the available tart pans with removable bottoms. There were several complaints about tin-over-steel items rusting. I decided that, for the price, it was completely worth the risk and gave it a shot. When I received the pan I washed it in warm, soapy water to remove any machine oil that might be left. I immediately dried it and then left it on end in the dish drainer so it conuld finish air drying any crevices I may have missed. No rust. The pan works great. The tarts come out great. There are no sharp edges or rough spots to cut myself. I'm very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone.
