(More customer reviews)This pan works as advertised. I was able to remove the finished cupcakes without having them fall apart, and when assembled and frosted, they made an adorable cake. Having a cake that easily separates into individual slices was very convenient at our family gathering that inclued several children -- no knives needed! However, cleaning the pan is tricky. Little crumbs tend to stick in the many corners, and it's hard to get all of them out when washing. I had to use a toothpick (gently!) while submerging it in warm water. It worked, but it's kind of time-consuming. The cake was a big enough hit at the party that I felt the clean-up was worth the effort.
A tip: through trial and error, I learned that if the individual cupcakes puff up above the rim of the mold, you need to trim off all the puffy excess with a bread knife before removing the cupcakes from the pan. This might seem obvious, but I was hurrying through the process and ended up with a seriously deranged-looking bunny the first time!
