It is very heavy and durable and is extra deep, perfect for my cheesecakes and tiers. I truly believe this pan has IMPROVED my baking because it gives my cakes an even rise, golden color, and maintains the moistness. The cakes even seem to bake "off" the pan enabling an effortless release. You will love this pan! Hey it's even made in the USA, something we don't see that often.
