These spoon ARE, however, designed to snap on/off of the ring easily. The plastic (May be acrylic, it is very strong) is VERY durable, and will not break (unless you intentionally try to).
Each spoon is shaped so it is very easy to dig into things like packed brown sugar, and each spoon has half measurements on them. They handles also feel comfortable, and feel like a soft rubber.
They also look great :)
I'd also recommend the Measuring cups (same design) by Wilton. Each also has partial measurements on them (Ex; The 1 cup has lines for 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup, etc...).
